5 Really Unique Tulsa Restaurants and Places We’re Loving Right Now
5 places in tulsa you’ve got to experience
Tulsa is growing at a rapid pace, and if you blink, you’ll miss a new restaurant opening or store. read on to see our very favorites at the moment.
Maple ridge grocer
No, it’s not a grocery store, but they do have a rack of the essentials if you need to grab something on your way out from breakfast. This little gem of a spot is McNellie’s Restaurant Group’s newest concept. Maple Ridge Grocer is a restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and good lord is it impeccably done. From the immaculate interior design to the food offerings, this place is the new “it” girl of Tulsa. We simply cannot get enough. Pop next door to Bishop Quigley its sister establishment: a well-styled cozy pub.
2. fixin’s soul kitchen
Oh my LORD, I have dreams about Fixin’s food. Set in Tulsa’s Black Wall Street area, Fixin’s Soul Kitchen does not miss. From the fried chicken to the over-the-top brunch drinks to their deviled eggs (do not miss these), I’ve never had a bad dish. The service is excellent, and the place is always packed. Brunch is my favorite here, but you can’t go wrong any time of day.
3. patisserie by sheila anne
Jenks is certainly not known for its food, and typically serves as a flyby town, but that is beginning to change, and Patisserie by Sheila Anne is leading the way. Stop in for a breakfast pastry or treat yourself to one of their espresso drinks and a few truffles from the case. This spot is just so well-done on the interior, and even the uniforms their employees wear are adorable. They really thought of every detail, and they’re killing it!
4. Black Sheep Boutique on Cherry Street
Black Sheep boutique recently moved to their new location on Cherry Street and is it CUTE cute cute! The shop is stocked with trendy clothing, jewelry, shoes, housewares, and more.
5. Noche
Another restaurant in Tulsa’s Historic Greenwood District. Do NOT miss this Mexico City-inspired restaurant and agave bar. First, Noche makes Nixtamalized corn tortillas in-house (unheard of in Tulsa). Also, they offer agave flights…need we say more? The interior is such a vibe (Tulsa doesn’t have many of these, so when we get a well-designed restaurant WITH good food and cocktails, it’s a big deal).
We’ve really been loving all of the new restaurants and shops opening in Tulsa. We hope you enjoy these local recommendations as much as we do.
